The Stories of Wind & Wave Bunnahabhain 19 years old 2001 is a 19 year old sherried Islay single malt from the Bunnahabhain distillery bottled by The Character of Islay Whiskey Company. This Bunnahabhain was distilled in 2001 and matured in sherry butt 11822. It was bottled in 2021 at cask strength of 56.5%, non chill filtered and without added colourants, as a limited single cask release.
Nose: fudge, raisins, brown sugar and a touch of new leather
Taste: lots of dried fruits such as red currants, plums, sultanas and raisins with chocolate-like influences
Finish: smooth and typical Bunna with notes of caramel and lots of spices
