Founded in 1959 in the heart of Speyside, Tormore Distillery is renowned for its elegant and fruity style. Since its acquisition by Elixir Distillers in 2022, the legacy has been carefully preserved, and the Legacy Cask Series is being launched as a preview of the 2026 relaunch. This series consists of single cask bottlings, fully matured in ex-bourbon casks, that perfectly capture the core of Tormore's character. This bottling was selected by Hans Bresser and released exclusively for Bresser & Timmer – NL.

Nose: Invitingly spicy with aromas of ripe peach and soft vanilla.

Palate: Smooth and fruit-driven with notes of stone fruit, creamy vanilla, and subtly toasted almonds.

Finish: Elegant and refined with a lingering balance of fruity sweetness and gentle nuttiness. A fresh and elegant Tormore that demonstrates how subtlety and complexity can beautifully blend.

Tormore Distillery
Tormore Distillery is located in the picturesque Speyside region of Scotland, near the village of Grantown-on-Spey. Founded in 1958, Tormore is one of the younger distilleries in the region, but it has quickly built a reputation for its high-quality whiskies.

The distillery was designed by renowned architect Sir Albert Richardson, resulting in a striking and elegant building that stands out in the landscape. A unique feature of Tormore is the use of water from the nearby Achvochkie Burn, which contributes to the purity and quality of their whiskies.

Tormore whiskies are known for their fruity and floral flavor profiles, with notes of apple, pear, honey, and subtle spice. The whiskies are matured primarily in ex-bourbon casks, which ensures a balanced and refined taste. Tormore produces both single malts and whiskies used in high-quality blends, such as Ballantine's.
