A new category of Port wine was created in January 2025: 80-Year-Old Tawny Port. Taylor’s is proud to mark this historic milestone by presenting Victory Port, an extremely rare, limited edition release crafted to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II.

This exclusive edition consists of exactly 1,945 individually numbered bottles, paying tribute to the year 1945, when peace was restored to the world.

Taylor’s Victory Port is a masterpiece of patience and expertise. Aged for eight decades in handcrafted, seasoned oak casks, this exceptional Tawny Port embodies the pinnacle of Taylor’s unparalleled expertise in crafting fine port wines.

To create this extraordinary blend, Taylor’s has drawn on its vast reserves of very old barrel-matured Ports, carefully preserved in its historic cellars in Porto. Beneath these reserves lies a precious treasure trove of rare and historically significant wines, representing a small volume of the house’s finest old stock. Only in the most exceptional circumstances are these rare gems revealed, and for Victory Port, Taylor’s expert blenders have carefully selected a number of these remarkable vintages. Once chosen, these individual wines were harmoniously blended with Taylor’s centuries-old expertise, ensuring a seamless integration of flavours, complexity and depth. The blend was then allowed to marry together in barrel for several months, nurtured until it achieved perfect balance and elegance.
