Glasgow 1770 Single Malt Scotch Whisky Peated, is our rich and smoky expression. The finest Scottish concerto barley is smoked to 50ppm using aromatic heather-rich peat from the Scottish Highlands.
Glasgow 1770 Peated is slowly distilled in our traditional copper pot stills using the incredibly pure water of Loch Katrine, and matured in American virgin oak casks and finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks.
Bottled at 46% ABV, non-chill filtered and natural in colour, the experience is a delightfully floral and welcoming sweet BBQ smoke on the nose with floral undertones. On the palate, notes of rich toffee and dark fruit combine with hints of tobacco leaf and dried apricots for a deliciously rich and long finish with a hint of spice.
Glasgow 1770 Peated was voted ‘Best Lowland Single Malt Whisky in 2020, 2021 and 2022‘ and is an absolute must for all peated whisky fans.
