Glasgow 1770 Single Malt Scotch Whisky, Triple Distilled, is a smooth and lively whisky with an outstanding character.
This single malt combines the finest concerto malted barley with the incredibly pure water of Loch Katrine and is fermented for over 72 hours before being slowly distilled three times in traditional copper pot stills.
The additional third distillation removes the heavier oil compounds from the spirit, leaving only the lightest and purest spirit to create this incredibly light and smooth whisky. The resulting new make spirit is delightfully fruity and bright and is matured in a combination of ex-bourbon casks and virgin American oak casks that are married together before bottling.
Non-chilled filtered, natural in colour and bottled at 46% ABV, this is a wonderfully balanced and lively single malt with notes of shortbread, honey and double cream with a warming woody note.
