The Claxton's Exploration Series Campbeltown Blended Malt 6 years old 2016 is a 6 year old Campbeltown blended malt bottled by the independent bottler Claxton's in their Exploration Series. This Campbeltowner was distilled on March 17, 2016 and matured in a PX sherry hogshead. It was bottled on January 12, 2023 at 50% ABV, non chill filtered and with no added colour, as a limited single cask release.
Nose: Toffee, marzipan and vanilla.
Taste: Sweet and light malt notes. In addition, full of fruity and reminds you of an apple strudel with vanilla sauce.
Finish: Wonderfully sweet and pleasant. Full tones of fudge and caramel.
