The Scallywag Animal Day Edition is a special Speyside blended malt bottled in the Remarkable Regional Malts series from independent bottler Douglas Laing. This Scallywag is specially designed for Animal Day, as you shouldn't forget the whisky-drinking owners. Scallywag is inspired by a long line of Fox Terriers from the Douglas Laing family. The whisky itself is a Speyside blended malt vatting from 100% sherry casks. This fruity animal companion, bottled at cask strength, is available exclusively for the Dutch market in a limited edition of 600 bottles at 53.2% ABV, non-chill-filtered, and with no added colorants.
Nose: Sweetness of dark fruit, spice, and dark chocolate.
Palate: Warming, animalistic with more dark chocolate and a hint of nutmeg.
Finish: Long and subtle with clear sherry influences.
