Voordoo the rusty Cauldron 11Y is an 11-year-old Caol Ila. This whisky was matured in refill sherry butts and then finished in Latiffe wine casks. As you might expect from a Caol Ila, it has a nose of dying campfires intermingled with berries and cherries. Sea salt and iodine also join the palate. A finish of robust spices, including freshly ground pepper, is achieved. Bottled at 54% ABV.
